Driftwood Gifts is proudly female owned and operated by local resident Khristi Gilbert. Born and raised in nearby Ucluelet, Khristi has spent her entire life on the Pacific Northwest coast and has deep roots in the local community. She and her family — husband Derek and their children Quinn and Ella — have owned and operated the store for the past 12 years, continuing a family legacy that began when the business was originally founded by Khristi’s father, Alan Trodden. Today, Khristi carries that tradition forward by creating a welcoming shop that celebrates the spirit, creativity, and natural beauty of Tofino and the West Coast.
Did you know we're dog friendly?
We love dogs at Driftwood Gifts, and four-legged visitors are always welcome in our store. Our own shop dog, Jamjam, is often around to say hello and has quickly become a favourite with customers. For those visiting Tofino with their pups, we also carry a small collection of dog toys and treats, along with our popular Tofino dog hoodies so your dog can take home a cozy local souvenir too.
